The Chairman of the Ondo State Football Agency (ODSFA), Devine Ogbonaya, has inaugurated two committees aimed at repositioning the agency for improved efficiency and greater success ahead of the new football season.
The inauguration ceremony, held at the ODSFA Games Village along Oda Road in Akure, was attended by key football stakeholders across Ondo State.

Addressing members of the committees, Mr. Ogbonaya urged them to bring their wealth of experience to bear by contributing ideas that would help football teams under the agency become more result-oriented.
The chairman also reaffirmed his commitment to revitalising football in Ondo State, noting that he remains open to ideas that would help return all teams under the agency to top-flight football in the coming season.
The newly inaugurated bodies are the Technical Committee and the Tactical Committee.
Responding on behalf of the committees, the chairmen, Pastor Henry and Apostle Patani, appreciated the agency for the opportunity to serve and pledged to work together towards returning ODSFA football clubs to the top-flight leagues in Nigeria.

Also speaking, the agency’s new operational consultant, Oluwatope Ayokunle, popularly known as “Tubaba,” called for greater cooperation among stakeholders in supporting the Owena Whales ahead of the new season.
He further urged stakeholders to support the ODSFA chairman, Mr. Ogbonaya, in achieving the agency’s goals for the coming campaign.
The appointments of the committees take immediate effect.

Meanwhile, Mr. Ogbonaya also received delegates from the Amotekun Corps, who pledged continued commitment to the security of players and properties belonging to the agency.
