Basketball talents between the ages of 14 and 20 are set to benefit from the Skyball Basketball Elite Camp, scheduled to hold from September 24 to 26, 2026, in Akure.
The three-day basketball development programme, organised by a former national basketball player Olabode James under the brand called Skyball Basketball Agency and powered by Bodja Promotions, will take place at the Indoor Hall of the Akure Township Stadium, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily.
The camp is designed to provide young players with intensive training and development opportunities through elite skills training, strength and conditioning, mentorship, life-skills sessions, games and competitions.
According to Olabode the programme is aimed at helping participants train, compete and elevate their basketball abilities while exposing them to valuable mentorship and competitive experiences.
Olabode James a FIBA certified basketball agent further clarified that registration for the camp is free, with only 40 slots available.
The first 40 registered participants will also receive free basketball sneakers.
He however encouraged interested young basketball players within the stipulated age bracket to register early to secure a place at the camp.
Speaking on security and adequate accomodations the organizers assured parents, caregivers,officials and athletes of a better preparation for all.
