Pro Wrestling Africa, also known as the Confederation Africaine de Catch, has conferred its prestigious Award of Grand Patronship on High Chief Tochukwu Ezisi in recognition of his outstanding leadership and commitment to youth and sports development.
The award was presented was presented by Olusesan Olukoya, Secretary General of the African body on the 25th June, 2026 in Lagos, Nigeria, under the body’s theme of “…uniting Africa through professional wrestling.”
According to the citation, High Chief Ezisi was honoured for his “unwavering support for youth development, and invaluable contributions to the growth and advancement of sports development in our part of the world.” His patronage is seen as a boost to Pro Wrestling Africa’s mission of using the sport as a platform to empower young Africans, promote unity across the continent, and showcase African talent on the global stage.
The Award of Grand Patronship is reserved for individuals whose leadership, generosity, and vision align with PWA’s mandate to build structure, create opportunities, and inspire the next generation of athletes across Africa.
With this recognition, High Chief Tochukwu Ezisi joins a distinguished group of patrons supporting the rise of professional wrestling across the continent, from Egypt to South Africa, Nigeria to Cameroon, and beyond.
