Super Falcons beat South Africa to reach WAFCON final

Nigeria’s Super Falcons have qualified for the final of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) after defeating South Africa 2-1 in a thrilling semifinal match in Morocco.

The nine-time champions showed determination against the reigning title holders, securing their place in the final with goals that underlined their experience and tactical strength on the continental stage.

The team has now reached the final in 13 of the 15 editions they’ve participated in, further cementing their status as Africa’s most successful women’s national team.
