Qatar is set to hold the 2029 FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship.
The International Volleyball Federation announced the decision during its Board of Administration meeting in Manila.
This win adds to Qatar’s growing record of hosting major international sporting events.
Describing the win as a proud moment for the nation, the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani praised Qatar’s successful bid to host the 2029 FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship.
This is the first time the tournament will be held in the Middle East. reinforcing its legacy as a trusted venue for global competitions.
