COMMUNIQUE ISSUED AFTER THE MEETING OF THE COMMITTEE ON 2025 BET9JA ONDO STATE U-19 FOOTBALL COMPETITION.
The Organising Committee of the 2025 U-19 Bet9ja Ondo State Football Tournament has concluded its meeting and resolved as follows
(1)That the preliminary competition of the two(2) Senatorial District of North and South has been concluded and successful with their representative emerged.
(2) That due to many Age Grade football competition going on in the state like Governor Ayedatiwa LG U-17 ( to Semi Final and Finals this month), the committee opined that the the Central Senatorial District tournament, earlier scheduled to hold in December 2025, should be shifted to January 2026 to ensure more conducive and level playing ground for all participating teams.
(3) A new date for the tournament will be announced in due course, and all stakeholders will be informed promptly.
(4) The Committee wishes to appreciate the cooperation of all teams, officials, and spectators, and looks forward to an exciting and successful Super Eight (8) tournament in January 2026.
The teams that qualified for “Super 8” are:
1 REAL IFON FC , OWO ( NSD)
2 OPEYEMI FC , ORE (SSD)
