Paralympians have unanimously appealed to the national sports commission and states government to assist them by providing equipment and other necessary gestures to ease their performance.
Speaking in behalf of others special athletes in a program Esther Onyema,Folasade Oluwafemiayo and Rita Ferdinand who are world weightlifting champions said if assisted with easier means of transportation,modern equipment the athletes have alot to offer the country.
On her part Rita Ferdinand urged the NSC to come to their rescue to better equip them for greater results.
They also advocated a better recognition,reward system for para athletes like their other athletes to encourage them and others who are not allowed to participate in sporting activities.
