Stakeholders and enthusiasts of the round leather game in Nigeria have continued to heap praises on the Moyero Football Scouting Tournament ongoing at the Dipo Dina International Stadium in Ijebu Ode.
According to reactions from some of those who were either part or attendees at the tournament which kicked off on 17th Friday October 2025 the tournament provided talents from across the country the opportunity to showcase whatever kind of artistry they have in stock .
A former Commissioner for Sports in Ondo State Mr Saka Yusuf said the tournament serves as a pathway to keep talented boys off the streets by giving them a platform where they could express themselves in a bid to become professional footballers.

Academy owner Alhaji Adeleke said the Moyero Football Scouting Tournament is a testimony that the future of Nigerian Football is bright particularly with the abundance of talents at the disposal.
“This Scouting exercise has gone a long way to prove that the future of Nigerian Football is bright particularly with the abundance of talents spread across the country”
Walid Adel and Guisse Charle who are both part of the Scouts while speaking in separate interviews lauded the large turn out of players while also emphasizing that only exceptional talents will make the cut at the end of the exercise.
The 26 teams have been pruned into units of different selected players who will now go through the final phase of the competition.
