A Chieftain of the Peoples democratic party (PDP)in Ondo State and also a gubernatorial aspirant Prince Godday Erewa has vowed to construct an ultra modern standard stadium in each senatorial district of Ondo state if elected as the governor in the upcoming governorship election.
Prince Erewa stated this during an interface with the PDP local government executives and ward chairmen in Akure south.
The event which took place at the Akure South PDP secretariat had in attendance some party members in attendance..
The Ilaje born Politician lamented the lack of modern sporting facility in the state compare to other states like Delta,Edo and Ogun state and other basic infrastructure especially in the state capital and vowed to bring to bare his vast experience for the overall development of Ondo state.
He further noted that youths and other business partners yearn for an enabling environment to do business and showcase their talents and since sports is also a unifying factor and means of diverting youths from social vices,his administration will give such policies topmost priority.
While responding to the issue of zoning in the selection of the PDP governorship candidate for the upcoming election,Prince Erewa said such thing never happened that Party candidate can only emerge through primary conducted by electoral body from the national secretariat.
He said he is determined with clear seven point agenda that will eradicate poverty among the people and unite the state in general.
In his words of appreciation, Akure South party chairman of the people’s democratic party Mr Busuyi Oladimeji commended Prince Erewa for associating with all party members in the state,his sincerity and charged him not to relent in his determination and agenda in transforming the state.
Prayers was said for the governorship hopeful by all participant at the event for the realization of his ambition.
